I'm Jill, a 21-year-old on the way to a better me. I've been losing weight the healthy way since September 2011, and have lost a total of 34.6 lbs so far :D I'm currently 6 lb away from my goal weight! I've had a few distractions – I spent 3.5 months studying in Barcelona, Spain. But now I'm back home in the US working toward my goal. Fitblrs have taught me the importance of being healthy and loving myself. There is still a lot I want to accomplish – both in weight, strength, and within myself. Proud but NEVER satisfied! We can do this :)
Breakfast: a healthy banana peanut butter pancake topped with bananas and a little drizzle of raspberry syrup.
The pancake batter is just 1 banana, 1 egg, cinnamon and 1 tsp of natural peanut butter. It was so good, even my mom liked it and she usually hates all of my healthy creations.

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals in their shelters.
It takes less than a minute (only about 15 seconds actually) to go to their site and click on the purple box titled, ‘Click Here to Give - it’s FREE!’. Every click gives about .6 bowls of food to sheltered dogs. You can also click daily!
Keep in mind that this does not cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. [via.]
Go to the website here.
doesn’t cost you a cent, just a click.

Had a great, healthy breakfast – overnight oats made w/ banana, blueberries, soy milk & chia seeds + 3 slices of grapefruit + coffee w/ soy milk
For lunch, we had a client come in, so my boss bought sandwiches and some salad for everyone to split. I mostly had salad (romaine, fresh mozz, basil, tomato, balsamic, EVOO) topped with chicken breast that I brought it, but I also had half of a steak and cheese sandwich…on WHITE bread :(
For a snack, I had like 4 mouthfuls of pad thai that was left over, and just now, someone brought in their homemade lemon ginger pie out for everyone to try, so I of course had a little sliver. It was delicious lol.
Not tooooooooo bad when you lay it all out, but not very good either. But that’s okay, I have healthy snacks and a healthy dinner prepared for the rest of the day/night :) Gotta brush it off and get back on track!
